Ring Pops were invented by Frank Richards. His daughter was prone to thumb sucking. As a Product Engineer for Topps (the makers of Ring Pops!) in Duryea Pennsylvania, he came up with the idea to stop his daughter's bad habit by providing a different option. Ring Pops were born!
